Digital printing
Major investment gives us the capability to print pretty much anything and everything digitally: leaflets, posters, brochures, folders, stickers, POS, window vinyls, signage, banners and more.
Despite the arrival of high-quality digital print technologies, offset litho printing usually remains the best option when you need to ensure maximum control, colour accuracy and print quality.
And with our attention to detail, colour management procedures (we print to FOGRA standards) and knowledge of materials, we can ensure that your print materials accurately reflect your own professionalism and maintain your brand identity with our litho print services.
Whatever you’re looking for from litho printed envelopes, folders and letterheads to litho poster printing, leaflets, catalogues or litho brochure printing, we have the plant, technical expertise and customer-focused attitude to help you get the job you expect, delivered when you need it and at the most competitive price.
Our investment in machinery means we can handle everything from start-up stationery or a few flyers to books, magazines and multi-page, multi-lingual brochures and catalogues, and we can print up to our maximum sheet size of 665mm x 490mm with a printable image area of 655mm x 470mm.
Our standard litho service is five colour printing (usually CMYK with in-line sealer) but we can also meet any colour requirements in terms of spot/Pantone colours, fluorescents and metallics. If you need to take things a step further, we can even offer fragranced printing. And our plant set up means we can also provide in-line creasing and perforating.
The fact that we offer a one-stop shop, everything under one roof service means we can advise on the process that best for the job in hand. The answer is often litho but our ability to offer digital and screen printing is your reassurance that we’ll recommend the best answer for your needs.
So when smaller printing quantities are required, we can print digitally, with all the benefits of lower set up costs. For larger items we can offer screen printing (higher quantities) or large format digital print (for lower quantities).
For colour-critical jobs we offer calibrated proofs. These give an extremely close digital representation of the finished product, but do be aware that if the end product is printed on uncoated material, calibrated proofs will not be reliable for colour. This is due to the ink soaking into the stock when being litho printed. We will be able to show you how colours will change depending on the stock used.
We have almost 50 years’ experience in lithographic printing, developing and investing in the latest technology along the way and we are proud to say that we now print alcohol free.
Why is this important? Firstly, for a number of technical and quality reasons including the ability to achieve sharper images and colour consistency to International Colour Standard ISO 12647. And secondly for environmental and health & safety reasons (i.e. the need to reduce the release of volatile organic compounds, aka VOCs).
So why don’t all printers print this way? Well, alcohol-free printing is less forgiving than old-fashioned technology and requires more stringent maintenance procedures. We believe the quality and environmental benefits outweigh the extra work involved.
